Looking for a place around MAYPUR

PAMHO Devotees,

Dandavat Pranam

We are currently staying in the US but we (six-seven persons)  have decided to move to MAYAPUR to live.

But we are a little tense about whether we can afford it, we will able to manage livelihood, our son(three years old) will be able to manage.

In terms of a place, the being foreigners will we be able to buy land?

Are schools for our son is okay.

Please also include what we might be missing.

Hope to be in Sridham Mayapur after long years.

  • Hare Krishna,

I don't know much about devotees in Mayapur but I watch this channel on youtube.

They are iskcon devotees and are basically German family but have settled down in Mayapur.

If you can write to them. They may help guide you nicely. Just message them on the youtube vid. reviews asking them their contact number or email.. I really love the family. They will surely help you.

  • I think renting is a far cheaper option. I am no expert. A small hut with shower and kitchen, and spend money on travelling. ) If i can ever go i would rent. I think last time i went to vraj in 2008 rent was 1500 for a month? But i cant remember exaclty.

  • Thank you so much Punkech Patel Probhu I can understand the sad sad situation in MAYAPUR Dham. I know Bangale hope it helps. I also thought it got expensive. I was thinking of any place that would be available for around 20k$ or otherwise have to rent and stay.

  •  Oh btw I am plaaning on going to mayapura in few years to stay for a bit (i never been) so.... )))) I know who to call.

  • In indian but born in UK. All I can say is be very very very careful who you trust with money. Even 'devotees' may seem like they can help sometimes. You need to first of all find an english speaking indian (if thats you first language) if you indian then Hindi is always good. What it is Is.. you need to be a 'trusted person there' like oh this person is a good fellow. Or else you will get scammed. You need to be-friend a very very Very good person. And then follow thier lead. I wouldnt try to go it alone as you become an anti-hero with no money lol. Houses and Land in india is not cheap either. Its kinda wierd I know..
