According to scriptures we can find that in moon planet is presided by demigod soma and people there have a life time of 10000 years. but modern scientists say there is no life on moon because they have not found it in their satellite videos and photographs .what answer should be given to such modern scientists?

SB 5.24.3, Translation and Purport:
After hearing from the sun and moon demigods about Rāhu's attack, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu, engages His disc, known as the Sudarśana cakra, to protect them. The Sudarśana cakra is the Lord's most beloved devotee and is favored by the Lord. The intense heat of its effulgence, meant for killing non-Vaiṣṇavas, is unbearable to Rāhu, and he therefore flees in fear of it. During the time Rāhu disturbs the sun or moon, there occurs what people commonly know as an eclipse.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu, is always the protector of His devotees, who are also known as demigods. The controlling demigods are most obedient to Lord Viṣṇu, although they also want material sense enjoyment, and that is why they are called demigods, or almost godly. Although Rāhu attempts to attack both the sun and the moon, they are protected by Lord Viṣṇu. Being very afraid of Lord Viṣṇu's cakra, Rāhu cannot stay in front of the sun or moon for more than a muhūrta (forty-eight minutes). The phenomenon that occurs when Rāhu blocks the light of the sun or moon is called an eclipse. The attempt of the scientists of this earth to go to the moon is as demoniac as Rāhu's attack. Of course. their attempts will be failures because no one can enter the moon or sun so easily. Like the attack of Rāhu, such attempts will certainly be failures.
SB 4.22.54, Translation and Purport:
After begetting five sons, named Vijitāśva, Dhūmrakeśa, Haryakṣa, Draviṇa and Vṛka, Pṛthu Mahārāja continued to rule the planet. He accepted all the qualities of the deities who governed all other planets.
In each and every planet there is a predominating deity. It is understood from Bhagavad-gītā that in the sun there is a predominating deity named Vivasvān. Similarly, there is a predominating deity of the moon and of the various planets. Actually the predominating deities in all the other planets are descendants from the predominating deities of the sun and moon. On this planet earth there are two kṣatriya dynasties, and one comes from the predominating deity of the sun and the other from the predominating deity of the moon. These dynasties are known as Sūrya-vaṁśa and Candra-vaṁśa respectively. When monarchy existed on this planet, the chief member was one of the members of the Sūrya dynasty, or Sūrya-vaṁśa, and the subordinate kings belonged to the Candra-vaṁśa. However, Mahārāja Pṛthu was so powerful that he could exhibit all the qualities of the predominating deities in other planets.
In the modern age, people from earth have tried to go to the moon, but they have not been able to find anyone there, what to speak of meeting the moon's predominating deity. The Vedic literature, however, repeatedly informs us that the moon is full of highly elevated inhabitants who are counted amongst the demigods. We are therefore always in doubt about what kind of moon adventure the modern scientists of this planet earth have undertaken.
SB 5.22.8, Translation and Purport:
Above the rays of the sunshine by a distance of 100,000 yojanas (800,000 miles) is the moon, which travels at a speed faster than that of the sun. In two lunar fortnights the moon travels through the equivalent of a saṁvatsara of the sun, in two and a quarter days it passes through a month of the sun, and in one day it passes through a fortnight of the sun.
When we take into account that the moon is 100,000 yojanas, or 800,000 miles, above the rays of the sunshine, it is very surprising that the modern excursions to the moon could be possible. Since the moon is so distant, how space vehicles could go there is a doubtful mystery. Modern scientific calculations are subject to one change after another, and therefore they are uncertain. We have to accept the calculations of the Vedic literature. These Vedic calculations are steady; the astronomical calculations made long ago and recorded in the Vedic literature are correct even now. Whether the Vedic calculations or modern ones are better may remain a mystery for others, but as far as we are concerned, we accept the Vedic calculations to be correct.

Prabhupāda: ...there is sun, and above that, there is moon. And they are going to moon. They are going nowhere, simply taking laboratory photo, studio photo, and cheating. Why this cheating can go on? You do not know. That's all. Who is insisting that "We must know"?

Devotee: ...scientists who are going to the moon by some artificial process that even though mechanically, on the gross level, they may reach the moon planet, because they cannot enter into the actual activity on the moon planet, technically, according to Bhāgavata, they have not reached there?
Prabhupāda: Yes. If you go... Suppose if somebody comes on this Earthly planet and goes to the Arabian desert, then what he'll find? He must go back again.
Devotee: So he can say he has been there grossly, but actually he has not been there because he cannot enter into the activity there.
Prabhupāda: Yes. He, they have not gone to the proper place. They have gone to the Arabian desert. That's all. (laughter)
Devotee: Don't think it is wrong. (end)

The material world is made of 8 elements viz 5 gross elements and 3 subtle elements. Earth, water, fire, air, ether are the 5 Gross elements and Mind, intelligence and false ego are the 3 subtle elements. The material elements can be transformed from one form to another. All the universes has the covering of these 8 elements and is shaped in the form of egg shell (andaakara). Great sages and yogies can do the manipulation of materials. For example, we can convert bell metal to gold provided if we have that siddhi. As described by HH RNSM in one of his lecture (requesting not to try this at home) the procedure is very very difficult. One has to drink a cup of mercury (a deadly poison) and some how (by yogic power) get it in the form of urine and urinate on a piece of bell metal and it will be converted to gold. It sounds unusual and something that can not be achieved. But its been mentioned in scriptures and is very much possible.
Back to bodies of different entities in different planetary system, as per my understanding, the entities in the earthly planetary system are made up of the 8 elements and they do have a gross body and a subtle body. When we die, we give up our gross body and go to heaven to enjoy or hell to suffer with our subtle body. The bodies of the entities in heavenly planetary systems is mostly dominated by subtle material due to which we can not see them even if they are present around us. The entities in lower planetary systems also have mostly the subtle materials as their body.
It is said that when a soul is pushed to hell to suffer, his subtle body is the one which undergoes suffering. The system is so designed that the soul will undergo the suffering but will not die as is the case in earthly planetary system. For example, Gurada purana says that if one eats meat of other living beings, he will be fried in hot oil. We my out of our limited knowledge think that when we are put into hot oil, our body will burn and we will die in no time. But its not the case. The oil is not the kind of oil we have seen or used. The body we have there is just our subtle body - mind, intelligence and false ego. It will give us tremendous burning sensation but we can not die as we do not have a gross body.
The problem with us is that we want to take some part of scriptures that we like and leave the part that we don't. This is called ardh kukkutiya naaya. Its like the farmer who wanted only the rear side of the chicken and not the front side as the front side consumes grains and the back side only gives the eggs. If we accept the authority of shaastras then we have to fully accept it. Not half the way. That will not help us in any way.
When Srila Prabhupada wrote SB and gave to his disciples for proof reading, they got bewildered. They came back to SP and asked if we have to print in the SB that Moon is farther than Sun because Science does not accept that. And SP said, SB says its like that and it means it has to be that way. We can not follow a scripture and doubt on it at the same time.
Talking about Modern science, science as we know is evolving. None of the laws were there before it was made. However, all the things were happening the same way before also. Human beings have limited senses and also tendency to make mistakes. There are so many examples in the history that we know where the science theory given by one scientist was proved wrong by other. There are hundreds of theories about the solar system itself. Few years ago, people believed that an atom is the smallest part of matter. But latter on they went on to say that there are protons, neutrons and electrons in an atom and it can be divided too!!!
To touch on the Moon subject that you raised here, I am not sure if you have come across this mail or not. There was a mail being circulated few years back giving evidences on how the moon mission was a fake and was cooked up by NASA. When we can not do something great, we try to cheat every one and make them believe what we want. That is the modern science.

Lord Vishnu's body is made of Sad Chid Ananda respected Siddhartha Prabhu! Body of full of knowledge, bliss and eternity.
For example, when we bath we wear gamcha - cloth, it means water is the body of one personality who is Water God - Varuna. We respect Him because of that cover our body.
For example, we should not blew into the fire, because we might to spit and it is a great offense to a personality. And Fire is the body of Fire God- Agni.
Air God, Moon God, all of them are personalities. It says that Sun and Moon and all other planets (not planets themselves but the rulers- Demigods) watch us day and night and write our karma.

There are living entities in this universe having bodies made up of 8 elements in different compositions.
for a being on earth, the body mostly constitutes earth, water and air. Fire is present as fire of digestion and ether present as the life air.
So similarly living entities on moon have different compositions.
Moon being a higher planet than the earth has a higher dimension. So earthly planet being in the lower dimension, the people here cannot see or perceive the beings on moon.
For ex: An ant can see only 2 dimension, but a man can see 3 dimensions. So an ant crawling on a white wall can see only white colour everywhere but a person in the room can see the white wall, the ant and all the other things going on in the room.
This is the philosophical reason why we cannot see the living entities on moon.

Their bodies are also made of subtle elements not from earth as like ours. Because of that our eyes are not able to see them. For example, Lord Brahma's body is made of pure ether. Can we see ether? no!
Accordingly in Sun Planet people have bodies made of fire.
For example, we can not see our mind and it does not mean that we do not have mind. It is there and we have to believe to that. just believe.
For example, our ears can hear sound from 0 up to 2000 mghz not above. but there are animals who can hear sounds beyond 2000 or below 0 because they have more powerful hearing senses.
similar things with eyes also.
By understanding that our senses are not ideal we have to accept the Vedic knowledge which is coming directly from the Creator Himself Krishna who knows what is what. As like we know who is our father just asking our mother.
