laddu gopal

my question is :-

i have seen Laddu Gopal being served by millions. but everywhere i have seen Laddu gopal made of Asht Dhatu.

is it necessary to have Laddu Gopal oly of Dhatu. Cant we have Laddu Gopal made of any other substance like Marble

I want to serve Laddu Gopal but i want to have a Laddu Gopal made of marble . please help whether i can have A LAddu Gopal made of marble or not. if not then what is the reason.

i regularly worship Lord Shiva and by his grace, i visit his Nimtalla situated Bhootnath temple regularly i also want to serve Laddu Gopal but at the same time i want to continue worshipping Lord Shiva as well.  can i do both simultaneously?

    I have seen at many places u have written that one shud do 4rounds of chanting and 16 rounds of chanting.
    Can u please explain me how is this chanting done. And what do u mean by number of rounds.
    How is a round completed and counted.
    Please help mata ji
    It may be sounding a little weird that I am asking as to what is chanting...but please help.

    Hare Krsna Sanjeev Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

    Laddu Gopal can be of marble - marble is one of the 8 elements approved in shastra (Srimad Bhagawatam to be precise) in which deities can be worshipped.

    I have seen Laddu Gopal of black marble with someone.

    One can worship Lord Shiva - one must know who he is. Vaishnavanam hi shambho - He is the prime vaishnava - he is a devotee of Krsna. As long as one has this concept clear in the mind - one can surely worship Shiva.

    THe prayer while worshipping Shiva should ideally be - please make me a vaishnava like you and not ask for mundane wants. IF at all you have any material desire which you are praying to be fulfilled, please pray to Krsna and Krsna alone. He will not only fulfill that desire, He will purify you such that the desire itself will go away.

      many many thanks for clearing my doubt. now i can get a laddu gopal made of marble.

      and yes you said so right that Lord Shiva is the prime vaishnavam. i have read that both Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva are the biggest BHAKT of each other. they both chant each others name.

      i have also read that Lord Shiva takes Krishna/Rama/vishnu as his ISHT Devtaa and Krishna also considers Lord Shiva as his ISHT Devtaa. They both are devotees of each other.
