Hare Krishna,

Dandavat pranam.

in our society there are many people who believe in krishna as Bhagwan . But they believe that before realizing krishna we should realize our self because it is the jyoti which is first visible to us. thus they indulge in kundalini yoga and get different intuition powers . this is practical not fraud . they are doing good to the society also by various services.

They don't claim themselves as god but they certainly lack bhakti to the extent a person engaged in krishna Consciousness have. But considering this powers they tend to have superiority complex and they dare to challenge prabhupada's vedic interprataion.

How to counter such person providing my knowledge is very limited ? I am in need of your help. I cannot let prabhupada's philosophy fall flat.

Your servant.

Hare Krishna Rahul Prabhuji. Dandavat Pranam. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

/* But they believe that before realizing krishna we should realize our self because it is the jyoti which is first visible to us*/

How can self see himself ? Can we see our own body or face without the help of mirror? When we stand in front of mirror we see both mirror and ourself. Self can be realized not be seen,  Its an utter non-sense conception that self can be seen as jyoti. To see self we need another object other than self , what Yogis see in meditation is superSelf or Paramatma. Paramatma is self of the self and different from atma.

BG 6.10: A transcendentalist should always engage his body, mind and self in relationship with the Supreme; he should live alone in a secluded place and should always carefully control his mind. He should be free from desires and feelings of possessiveness.

Yoga means connection of atma+Paramatma. Atma practice yoga to fix his mind in paramatma. But it is indirect method to Know Supreme Brahman, Bhakti is direct method and the destination is also different, Astanga-Yogi do not get the chance to be engaged in Personal relationship with Lord, where a Bhakta attains personal relation as a person. Both path are authenticated in Vedas, both are transcendental , but the results achieved is different. Thats why Krishna says a Bhakta is far far greater than any yogi or Jyani.

BG 6.47: And of all yogīs, the one with great faith who always abides in Me, thinks of Me within himself, and renders transcendental loving service to Me — he is the most intimately united with Me in yoga and is the highest of all. That is My opinion.

So there is no need to challange them, their and ours destination are different. Rather give them Bhakti. Which is highest bliss.

  • HK, PAMHO,

Understanding Krsna is compared to understanding the Sun in terms of its heat, light, and the element itself. If at some point of your life, if you had completed the process of Kundalini yoga and/or all other pious activities and yatras to all pilgrimages and taking dip in all the holy waters, you are invited to take up Krsna Consciousness.

If someone has just started with Kundalini yoga, let them practice, they'll join you after a million births or even more. Think about yourself and stop associating with such people, who are against Bhakti Yoga. The ultimate aim of all Yogas is to ultimately surrender to Krsna.  The candidate going to Yoga school should know why he is going to that school before accepting something in this age of Kali.

You don't have to preach them KC at all, just ask them to chant mahamantra and give them Krsna prasadam and tell them that it will help them realize their goals very quickly.

    Hare Krsna....
