During one of our preaching programs, some one asked this question: "Why Krishna never told that he is a Kshtriya and the eldest son of Kunti. Why he allowed all the injustice to happen to Karna?"
Could you someone please help in answering this question.

It is said that the Bromenical class of man can perform all the duty's of the other casts. So I said that to say this, Karna-gee knew He was Shatra-w/out being told. 100%sur
Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
Krsna was not present in the time of Mahabharata to tell people secrets about their lives which they otherwise didnt know.
The principle is the same - we all have the right to exercise our free will. In the first instance itself, Karna decided to side with Duryodhana and he in turn gave him a kingdom to keep him obligated. In fact, it was for Kunti to own Karna as her son, which she didnt do - that was again her karma. She suffered the consequence - seing Karna die before her, that too by his own younger brother.
What injustice happened to Karna? Was it not his own karma?
Is there any instance of Karna going upto Krsna and surrendering to Him or asking Him any question, even about his own birth or whether his direction of life was correct or not? Why Krsna should interfere with his free will? Was Karna not a silent witness and acceptor of the vastra haran of Draupadi? Was he not lusting for Draupadi all his life?
Before the war began, Karna had come to know the secret about his birth. He still decided that his friendship with or obligation to Duryodhana was greater than his duty of surrendering to Krsna or being on the side of Krsna at the time of war. Naturally, he will perish then, right?

Hare Krsna,
My obeisances to all devotees, guru and gauranga.
Read all the parvas of the Mahabharatha. It goes in great detail on most of the character’s previous births and the reason why they did what they did during the Mahabharath time. I haven’t read all the books to give you proper explanations on Karna but each action or reaction of each powerful character is in some way linked to their past lives. I am pretty sure you will be able to find an answer via some searches but someone will ask another question and the quest begins again.
Just wanted to highlight your question for a sec: "Why he allowed all the injustice to happen to Karna?"
Injustice based on what? Based on our understanding? Do we really know what is justice and injustice in our own material life? Then how can we question about justice and injustice about characters from a much better yuga than us and of such powerful and God-loving personalities?
Once we come to understand that Krsna is everything and He can never be wrong, we will start to repharse “our” questions slightly differently.
Chant and be happy.

Karna, I believe had a 'prarabhdha' or back log of massive karma which had to be played out in him getting insulted and so on...So it was Karna's previous lives karma that he was going through.. I also read somewhere that he was an asura named sahaSra kawacha who was almost indestructable due to his thousands of kawachas... hence karna and his armour..

As far as i know kunti did approach Karna and told him that Pandavas were his direct Brothers and he should be on their side . But Karna refuses to and says he prefers to side with the Kauravas since Duryodhan his Friend Helped him when No one did. He Made him a Kshtriya by giving him a Province.
