I have a question,
I am new to the Krishna Concious movement and I feel its something I really want to give as much to as I can. My big problem is that for my job I am around Alcohol, Gambling and Meat Eating. Am I able to continue in this career? I am not easly able to just quit this job as it provides security for my family but I also want to be as Krishna Consious as I can.
I need some help on how to deal with this.

Welcome to Krsna Consciousness. What is your qualification? Is it necessary to do this job only - cant you get another kind of job with your qualification? If yes, try for it. If not, then do the next best thing - start your sadhana and depend on Krsna to show you direction.
Start by chanting - minimum 4 rounds daily - of the Hare Krsna Mahamantra with the promise to yourself that you will increase the number of rounds every month by 2, till you come to 16 rounds. This way, you will be chanting 16 in no time. When youare chanting, you should say the words clearly and hear your own voice chanting attentively. Ideally, get up early morning or atleast half an hour before your regular time and chant your rounds.
Please try to become a vegetarian - no meat, fish, eggs. Milk and milk products are allowed. If possible, offer your food to Krsna before eating it yourself.
You dont indulge in alchohol, gambling or meat eating at all. That is very important.
Try to read the philosophy as much and as fast as you can.
You can contact the local ISKCON temple and get someone to guide you depending on your circumstances. You could write on this forum and we can give suggestions.
