Jealous of other devotees.

PAMHO,

AGTSP!

I feel jealous of other devotees who have firm faith in Krishna, where as me after being in ISKCON from so many years unable to relish the devotional service. I chant 16 rounds and regularly associate with devotees. What are the chances of me becoming good devotee. If you view all my post you will come to know how fallen iam. Anyway all the devotees please pray for me I hope Krishna will listen to your prayers.

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

    You should examinethe reason wy you do not have firm faith. If you are chanting 16, then examine whether you are following 4. If yes to both, then what is the time of your chanting - morning chanting is the best. What is the quality of your chanting? To improve quality, it would be a good idea to do Shikshashtakam and 10 offences before you sit down to chant.

    I had heard in one lecture that if there are problems between 2 devotees or one is jealous of the other, then the solution is to dance with that person during arati and kirtan. Your heart will get cleansed and you will feel the ecstacy, the jealousy will evaporate and you will be able to make spiritual progress.

    Your desire to please the lord and advance spiritually is pleasing to the lord. Please chant attentively and pray fervently. The mercy will come to you in leaps and bounds.

    Please try to read more and more pastimes of Radha Krishna and Lord Gauranga . Also try to engage your mind in mansi sewa. It is very powerful.

     Hariiii booool.

    There isnt such thing like good devotees and bad devotees, there is devotees and those in process to become.

    To become devotee of Lord you need soft heart and association of those who are very much attracted with Krishna katha and singing holy names. 

    NBS 58 — Success is easier to attain by devotional service than by any other process.
    NBS 59 — The reason devotional service is the easiest of all spiritual processes is that it does not depend on any other authority for its validity, being itself the standard of authority.

    NBS 60 —Furthermore, bhakti is the embodiment of peace and supreme ecstasy.

    NBS 63 —One should not find entertainment in news of women, money, and atheists.
    NBS 64 — One should put aside false pride, hypocrisy, and other vices.
    NBS 65 — Offering all one's activities to the Lord, one should feel desire, anger, and pride only with regard to Him.
    NBS 42 — Strive, strive only for the association of pure devotees.
