Recently i went to a place where Srimad Bhagwatam 7 Day was going on ,
the person who was doing it was from Vrindavan , his father was also doing same occupation .
As far as i knew his father was very great devotee of Krsna , his songs were very melodious .
But i thing that i disliked was he propagated worship anyone , you will reach parmatma , who is formless. He said listen to this Katha and remember your ISHTA DEVA .
Then he told people there are many people who propagaten that my god is great , your god is low ,
this is not good , we should not differentiate between god . They all know very good sanskrit ,
people are attracted to them .
This is not with single person , 99% indian guru preaches the same .
How to understand this , and explain others , because we are nothing in front of those high status people .

In the BG verses 7.16 - 7.26, krishnA precisely talks about the same. How people pray to different devathAs, how he still answers those prayers through the demigods and how very few know Him and like Him for Himself and not for fruitive desires. So if one's ishta devathA is KrishnA Himself then that devotee is the most blessed. The rest don't get to know Him directly but only by krishnA's grace if He is satisfied by the sincere devotion of that person to that Ishta devathA though not directly to Him. There's a saying - '..A person convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still..'. So Ashwani prabhuji, even if you try to explain krishnA to those people whom you encountered, unless they realize the sweetness of krishnA, you may not win their hearts for krishnA. Only krishnA has to win their hearts !! and that He'll only do when He sees the sincerity, honesty and dedication in devotional service atleast to the chosen Ishta devathA.
However, i've seen people positively responding to kIrtans and taking to krishnA than other means which are difficult. On the logic front, for example, all citizens of our country are to be treated equally and fairly by constitutional definitions, but then why we stand only to respect the flag, president, PM and official dignitaries and not for other citizens. In the same way, though all gods are in essence from krishnA, not all are equal to Him. Therefore krishnA deserves more respect than others. Now that respect should come out of love for all His causeless mercy and kindness to devotees and fallen souls in this kali yugA where He Himself has taken the responsibility to save all who surrender to Him, feel Him in Srimad BhAgavatham and chant His name with love, interest and sincerity.

yes you are right Ashwani prabhuji. These people are mayawadis putting cover of devotee from outside. So they must be considered as cheaters. But we shouldn't engage in any fight with them. If they are preaching non-sense we must try to preach True knowledge of Krishna Consciousness with more enthusiasm , and Sudheendra Prabhuji and Sudipta Prabhhuji are very right.
The situation is even more worse than this . The world is full of such persons. Even if we propagate that only Krishna is Supreme , many people try to prove us (devotees) as fanatics . They consider it liberal to say that all demigods and saints and Babajis are one and same and are God . But we have to tolerate such false charges( taroreva sahishnuna )
But this doesn't mean that we agree to such foolish things we have to be firm to our Krishna Consciousness . This world is full of rascals in the covering of spiritualists or devotees, and Truth can be only seen in the Light of Bhagwatam
As Sudheendra prabhuji said Bhagwatam means Srimad Bhagwatam and a True Devotee. Fortunately we are in the line of great Acharyas especially Srila Prabhupada and His follower Gurus. It shows great mercy of Krishna on us. We should utilize this great mercy in our as well as world's deliverance which is possible only in Krishna Consciousness.

What Sudheendra Prabhuji explained its all true actually. This world is of Kama-Kami. People make good business even with God and scriptures also. It is like if a snake taste milk it becomes poison same happens when a person is not a living Bhagavtam recites Bhagavatam for living and to entertain the senses of the pious materialists. In todays world man became mechanical they have no fine human sentiment, How can they surrender to Krishna. They don't want to love God they want God to be their order supplier , thats why they worships several gods who can spoon feed their desires. They are in hunt for pleasure how can they think of giving pleasure to Lord.
Actually we can't change everyone. If Krishna himself choose any person then only he can come to pure knowledge of what is reality else the world and the people are becoming pathetic day by day. Even they don't spare GOD to make a joke of HIM. Its really sorrowful indeed.
And being a good scholar, knowing Sanskrit will go into vain, if one has no love for Krishna. Because Krishna choose heart not scholar. We need a simple child like heart and we have to cry cry cry and cry only.

Nice question prabhu. Well the problem is that in present situation if you tell some one that u give up all nonsense and just surrender to Krishna alone, its very difficult for them to digest. Not only that, people in India even though might no know who they are worshiping and what they do, they get seriously offended if some one says that only Krishna is supreme and every one else is his servants. At the same time, from what I understand from ur post is that this and many other people like this one are not devotees necessarily but professional Srimad Bhagavatam reciters. They know nothing about SB. Sri Chaitnya Mahaprabhu says that from the beginning to the end of there is one and only one thing that SB has and that is pure devotional service to Lord Sri Krishna. If they are not knowing this very essence, then what SB can they preach.Srila Prabhupada says that one must hear SB from a person Bhagavatam - the one who is following Bhagavatam in his life. Otherwise its nothing but cheating to general public.
Regarding what we can do about this. I feel you and I can not go and stop them from doing this saying he is wrong and I am right. But instead I see a very nice opportunity to preach them. We can inform our local ISKCON temple to put a stall near by and sell the Books as all who are coming there are at least pious and will see the book if not purchase and many may even purchase them. We can go around and try to preach them and invite them to our temples where there is SB katha daily and for sunday feast programs etc.
