Is use of Leather items such as Wallet, belt, wrist watch straps, ladies purse, etc. is permissible in ISKCON? Srila Prabhupada's view on this....

Hare Krishna to all senior devotees,

all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

My question is that is it permissible to use leather products such as Wallet, belt, wrist watch straps, ladies purse, etc. in ISKCON. Personally I dont use products which are made of leather.. But some quality products are very difficult to find which are not made of leather..

Please shed some light on this topic..

    Avoidable, to the extent possible. We do not use leather products to the extent possible.
