Is Krishna in bagavatgita and bagavatam different?

I heard one swamiji speaking that krishna in bg and bagavatam are different.He also said that krishna in bg is a human who has many special qualities which he attained by his great meditation and prayers.I am not able to believe this. Is there any fact in this?

  • We have to be clear on this. The Krishna referred to in the 10th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatham is gokulananda Krishna, Yashoda Nandana and Radha Ramana whose main mellow is madhurya / vatsalya prema; the mood of Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita is of Aisvarya and magnanimity of Dwaraka. Thus although both the Krishnas are same in tattva ; they are different in moods
