I have strong desire in my heart to be with the devotees of the Lord. I have so much love for them its hard to express at times. It is a silent longing, I've had dreams of previous lives where we walk in the streets and things of that nature.

So much longing for sankirtan and that pure happiness and setting the world apart. I long for that more than the company of Prabhu sri krishna.

I am of the certainty that lord krishna loves his devotees and would rather be with them, than with another himself; and even though by his celestial perception he can see himself in all; while in this world, I cannot see who would trade a statue of the lord or deity, with the living anima of a devotee whose eyes are kindled by passion of devotion, desire for betterment, perfection, brahmacharya, justice for his fellow men, justice for the children and the weak.

At times I don't see how devotees see any interest in being with the Lord, what for, to adore him alone? to shower him with flowers when he has no interest for these things?

I see the yogis with much love as well. It is so difficult for people like me, who have nothing to share but their silence. and when I'm with you or other devotees, nothing comes out. I just watch you all, and to some extent, I hear you all or see you all fade away in the distance.

I have left devotees of the Lord several times behind, I've had by duty to family and my mother to take on task of work and studying intensively.

I will open a temple in Cuba, near la Habana in the near future. We will plant trees and allow for things to grow. I will have animals live freely and without fear of being chased or hunted and there I will establish a house for meditation for those who want to take this side of our spiritual sadhana to the next level. I invite you all to come help in the building and to eventually reside there and to push you sadhanas to the next level there in our company.

I also wish to do the first north american Kumba Mela, these are but few things. I have told my uncle a quintissimal aspect of my plans, and he said: "we ought to call you the dreamer".

my dreams are so simple, and so often involve those that i love which i miss so much. the lifestyle free of stress, the meditation which is given constantly to all things around me without anything in return. i will share all in due time.

what would lord krishna do if he were alive today?

  • Well first correct yourself. Lord Krishna is alive even today and he will always be there. Second your subject line: Is it better to act like Krishna or to be with Krishna. Well no one can act like Krishna. Only Krishna himself can act like Krishna. If some fake living entity wants to act like Krishna, I want to see him holding a small brick(less than 1kg) on his little finger and stand straight for few hours.............not speak about holding a goverdhan hill for few days.

But your thoughts are good as long as you want to spread KC and glorify lords name as a servant.

    Servant of devotee.

    A few notes:

    1) It's great to see you opening a temple in Cuba. Thank you so much for doing that!

    2) Krishna never died, he is eternal and the original being (in reference to your last question)

    3) To answer your question in the title:

We can never act like Krishna because we are not Krishna. Even being parts and parcels of Krishna does not mean that we are Krishna. So that is out of the picture. As for being with Krishna -- that's up to the individual.

Some people want to escape this material world and be with Krishna, others want to stay in the material world to help others go to Krishna, and some want to be Lord Rama, while others want to be with Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda and take part in the eternal ecstatic Sankirtana going on in Navadwipa. It's not that one is greater than the other (though that Sankirtana with Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda is very very enticing), but it's just how our relationship with God unfolds as we progress further along the path of Bhakti Yoga

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

How did you arrive at "what would lord krishna do if he were alive today?" After all that you have written, you are writing this??!!! Lord is unborn, there is no question of birth or death for the lord.

Secondly, if you mean that if the lord's incarnation were to happen now, He incarnates everytime you chant offencelessly and dances on your tongue.

All I can request you is please prabhu, chant more and associate with devotees more. Depend on the lord's mercy for fulfilling your dreams, not on your own prowess.

    Haribol,

    Rashmi
