Hare Krsna to all devotees.
I am an ISKCON follower since 2003. However due to my work I never could devote time to visit temple everyday nor could have a Guru for myself.
However I do chant about 5 rounds of chanting. I am take keen to take it forward and want to know the how should i take it forward.
Also how does my life and schedule changes post initiation.

If You chant daily, regularly 5 rounds then You are very special soul!
It is also nice to try to find time to visit Temple and to find friends among Devotees. Association is very important for our progressive spiritual life.
Initiation can take those who daily read Srila Prabhupada's books and would be able to answer some questions about the Krishna Consciousness. Also one should regularly chant 16 rounds daily for 2 years. Also regularly participate Temple programs like: Sunday programs, Ratha Yatras...
Do not be sad for waiting 2 more years, because i know Devotees who chant more than 16 rounds daily for over 6-10 years but still waiting to get initiation.

I thank you for your guidance. I have few questions
a) I want a spiritual Guru to help me guide towards initiation.
b) I read regular books like Krsna The Supreme Personality of Godhead, The science of self realisation, life comes from life. Is there other books that I should read?
c) I stay at Nerul in Navi Mumbai and would like to get associated with a group near by.
d) Would I need to give some test to answer some questions about Krsna Consciousness?
e) How will it affect my regular life since I travel a lot.
f) I read some part of Vaishnava_Etiquette_Manual. I have lots of queries relating to it.
If I could wait for 8 years then I can wait for 2 more years for this moment.

In Mumbai there are very nice Temples like at Juhu Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple, Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple 7, K.M. Munshi Marg, in Chowpatty,Mumbain 400007 (tel 23665500) or Temple in Mira road.
If You travel a lot then it is very good if You download lectures from IDT and listen them on the way.
There are lectures of Srila Prabhupada, also all other Devotees.
For example, at this time i am listening lectures of His Holiness Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami Maharaja where He teaches about Vedic culture in details. http://audio.iskcondesiretree.info/index.php?q=f&f=%2F02_-_ISKC...
By associating with Devotees and gaining knowledge from lectures then You will find Your Guru. It will take some time.
