Hare Krishna, I have a quick question about food. Are we allowed to eat food that says "May contain egg"? This means it was manufactured with machines that made egg products. Thank you and PAMHO.

  • ISKCON discourages consuming food labeled may contain egg. Even trace amounts of eggs are considered non-vegetarian in Vaishnava principles. It's recommended to choose explicitly egg-free options. Retro Bowl College

    Hare KRsna Prabhu,

    PAMHO.

NO. We dont eat anything where it is mentioned - may contain egg.

We dont eat cakes from a place where there are egg cakes also - because it would be made in the same mould.

    We dont use egg shampoo.

  • Depends on your personal standard. Best is to avoid all processed foods.
