Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Dandavat Pranam. All glories to Srila Prabhupada

The whole Bhagavad Gita is a gradual revelation of the purpose of human life and not just confined in a single verse, though there are few verses which certainly boldly highlight the purpose that is surrender unto Krishna.

The most prominent one is Gita 18.22

    sarva-dharmān parityajya
    mām ekaḿ śaraṇaḿ vraja
    ahaḿ tvāḿ sarva-pāpebhyo
    mokṣayiṣyāmi mā śucaḥ

Gita 18.66: Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.

Then there are verses like Gita 3.9

yajñārthāt karmaṇo 'nyatra loko 'yaḿ karma-bandhanaḥ
    tad-arthaḿ karma kaunteya mukta-sańgaḥ samācara

Work done as a sacrifice for Viṣṇu has to be performed, otherwise work causes bondage in this material world. Therefore, O son of Kuntī, perform your prescribed duties for His satisfaction, and in that way you will always remain free from bondage.

BG 2.61: One who restrains his senses, keeping them under full control, and fixes his consciousness upon Me, is known as a man of steady intelligence.

BG 4.10: Being freed from attachment, fear and anger, being fully absorbed in Me and taking refuge in Me, many, many persons in the past became purified by knowledge of Me — and thus they all attained transcendental love for Me.

BG 5.29: A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.

BG 6.47: And of all yogīs, the one with great faith who always abides in Me, thinks of Me within himself, and renders transcendental loving service to Me — he is the most intimately united with Me in yoga and is the highest of all. That is My opinion.

BG 7.30: Those in full consciousness of Me, who know Me, the Supreme Lord, to be the governing principle of the material manifestation, of the demigods, and of all methods of sacrifice, can understand and know Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, even at the time of death.

BG 3.30: Therefore, O Arjuna, surrendering all your works unto Me, with full knowledge of Me, without desires for profit, with no claims to proprietorship, and free from lethargy, fight.

BG 12.8: Just fix your mind upon Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and engage all your intelligence in Me. Thus you will live in Me always, without a doubt.

This are few verse but there are many . Actually Krishna revealed Gita for us to know our own identity as Brahman ( we are soul not this body of matter) , the identity of krishna as supreme absolute truth and how can a jiva ( living entity) can develop relationship with Krishna and establish in love with him thus become free from this temporary world of misery.

    hope this will help
