Is wearing any amulet(including Narsingha Kavach) important for those who are surrendered to Krishna or trying to do so?
For aspiring devotees, Wearing Narsingha Kavach and not remembering Him and not praying him will yield any result ? Remembering Narsingha Dev and reciting Narsingha Pranam mantra daily is important before going out and before sleep at least . For progressing in KC this is important as he helps a lot to the devotees.
Sraddha is most important . If one does not do so and simply wear an amulet saying God will protect him, will the amulet work for such person ?
I think not. I am not sure. Please show me some light on this.

For devotees not wearing amulet and non devotees wearing amulet.

It says that our body is a Temple of God. Because of that it should be decorated nicely. One of the devotional services is that to mark the Holy Name on our body. As i heard there is written Narasimha Kavacha within the silver covering. And Narasimha kavacha is filled with the Holy Names.
In this way there is benefit.

About powerful amulets: as we know there are souls within some jewelry stones like sapphire, Rubin, ...actually saying they are living beings. Because of that they have power and influence to other living beings. When we wear them no need to have faith they will influence us.
It is similar with eating. What we eat influences our mind. In this way the stones also influence us.
For black magic, it is very good to read Narasimha kavacha and Narayana kavacha with full faith. And the most powerful kavacha for everything is Hare Krishna Maha Mantra.
Krishna says to leave everything and just to surrender to Him and He will protect us. We may be illiterate, fallen, dumb...but if just please Krishna He will surely protect us from everything as like He did it with Prahlada Maharaj.

The main rules of Krishna Consciousness are:
1. Always remember Krishna &
2. Never forget Him.
In this way everything we do or wear or eat or drink ...should remind us about Krishna.
Those attributes like Tilak, Sari or dhoti, Narasimha kavacha ... are all there to remind us about Krishna and about the culture of Spiritual world. We wear Vaishnava cloth to remember that Gopis and Gopas also wear that.
Also these attributes help not only to us to remember Krishna but to others also.
For example, when karmi people see a Devotee in sari with Vaishnava Tilak and with Japa mala in hand says "Hare Krishna" "Hare Rama". In this way they also chant the Holy Names and earn agyata sukriti (unknowingly performed bhakti).
