Hare Krishna everyone… Today feels very special for me because it’s my birthday!

I woke up with a sad stillness in my mind.

I'm missing my childhood friends today. They would drag to the garden to play, and actually i would like to spent time with them. We would laugh, talk, tease each other and walk back to the homes with joy. They celebrate my birthday even more than I do.

I’ve been missing India so much today.  I didn’t plan to write all this, but the tears aren’t stopping. So, I decided to share my thoughts to you all devotees.

Berlin is beautiful but it’s something different. I did not feel the same warmth I felt in India. Maybe that’s why I wanted to talk to all of you today. Somehow devotees always make me to feel better. And I don’t know why I’m saying this, but since morning I’ve been feeling like this.Maybe it’s the birthday effect? Maybe it’s the memories? Or maybe it’s just that freinds tend to be way too sweet when someone’s feeling emotional.

  • Hare Krishna Mata ji,

Happy birthday and pls. don't feel sad on your day. I know we miss our childhood, childhood friends and when we move to other country away from all those we know. It become tough to get back the earned good friendships.  But luckily I never got any girl friends in life.

All those who I made friends.. till now. I found they are not perfect in someway or other or maybe they didn't like me to that much extent to keep the friendships for long.

I miss nothing like you. But I wish I had a girls as friends esp. those who have developed Love for Krishna.

Don't feel bad girl. I can be your friend.

    Hare Krishna

    • Hare Krishna Gayatri Mataji,

Thank you so much for your kind birthday wishes. What you shared feels very honest. The connections don’t always grow in the way we hope. Still, I feel there is something very special about friendships rooted in love for Krishna. It feels softer, deeper, and more forgiving somehow. I'm missing my country and friends. I feel Krishna sends you to me on my birthday. Such a pretty birthday gift, isn't it?

Can I ask something? Are you from India? If yes, how many times you had visited to Vrindavan and Mayapur?

      Hare Krishna.

      • Hmm, You are welcome. I am from India

I have visited Vrindavan 2 times. But not Mayapur yet. Will have to plan for it or when Lord will call me there. It will happen then only.
