Hare Krsna,

Whenever I think of humanity and people around me, one question/thought always come to my mind:

Getting a human form is difficult and one attains it after going through several life times. How can one explain world's population (at around 7 billion) that exploded in the last century? Possible explanations that comes to my mind:

1. A vast population from past died in an instant and everyone went through their karmas and again got this form again in this century.
2. More people have done or have been doing good karmas.
3. Lord Krsna forgave atmas and gave them a chance to correct themselves by having them take a human form. May be one last time before kaliyuga ends?
4. Some other reason???

I probably shouldn't be asking this question. It is on his divine will that the world is going on and with his thought it will continue.

But if I see people around me, I sometimes wonder humanity is like a deepa that is giving out more Kanthi/Jyoti before it dies.
