Hare Krishna! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I am a student and is trying to follow Krishna Consciousness in my life to the fullest extent. But most of the times, it happens that we, as students, are not able to go to sleep around 9:00 p.m because of tuitions or coachings. I sleep at 11:30 p.m everyday and wake up at 4:00 a.m. But I have heard from my aspiring guru-maharaja that we should get atleast 6 hours of sleep to maintain our health. So I ask all the devotees to guide me how to wake up in Brahma-muhurta while being as a student and while also getting 6 hours of sleep?

  • Waking up during Brahma-muhurta, which is the auspicious time before sunrise, can greatly enhance a student’s productivity and focus. To achieve this, establish a consistent sleep schedule, create a calming bedtime routine, and avoid stimulants before bed. Place your alarm clock away from your bed to encourage getting up immediately. Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

From what I know, you stay with parents, who are not very favourable.

It is correct - get your 6 hours of sleep and wake up at say 5.30 am. Its ok. Chant immediately after waking up, instead of studying or any other activity. If you still feel sleepy, sleep later in the day. It is very important to rest properly, otherwise you will not be able to sustain.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD
