I do not know anything about that city yet but we are going to Yatra Prabhu.

Hampi reminds me of recent message for Bangalore devotees from HH JayPataka Swami Maharaj. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu visited Hampi. Here are the excerpts (relevant):
"I was thinking how in Bangalore, Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu visited the capital of the Vijayanagara king. I think that’s Hampi. He also visited Udupi. Probably on His route He left some of His dust in Bangalore city. At the time of the Vijayanagara kings, Karnataka was the leader in South India. Lord Caitanya was present just recently within our recorded history.
Somehow, amongst all our cities, we see that Bengaluru is very much involved in spiritual activities with Udupi nearby and the Madhva tradition. Also, with different religious efforts there is a scope to get people involved in the teachings of Bhagavad-gita.
That’s why I had a vision that gradually we can make Bengaluru a spiritualized city. There are many cities in the world but ones with a potential for spiritual development are very rare. So, if all the devotees reach out there is the possibility to enhance the spirituality of the city."
