HOw to go Mayapur Dhak from KOLKATA NEW MARKET

Hare Krishna Prabhuji and Mataji,

I am from Bangladesh and planned to visit Mayapur Dham on 5th August. Can you please help how can we go to  Mayapur from Kolkata as we are coming from Bangladesh via MAITREE TRAIN on 4th August . My 73 yrs Old Father and 65 Years old MOther will be with us . SO please kindly advise the convenient way to Mayapur from KOLKATA .

    Hare Krishna,

    Common Routes for Mayapur from Kolkata

    1. Train

         To Nabadwip (Mostly non AC - Many Local Trains)

    After reaching Nabadwip you need to take Auto to Nabadwip Ghat then Boat to Mayapur then again eRickshaw to whereever you want to go in Mayapur.

         To Krishna Nagar (Mostly AC - Many Local Trains)

    KrishnaNagar is far from Mayapur as compared to Nabadwip but I prefer this because of less crowd and AC trains at affordable prices. You can take a taxi or auto from Krishna Nagar railway station direct to whereever you want to go in Mayapur. Its far but no need to change lots of vehicles and plus less crowd.

    For Train Schedule please see irctc website. You can also do booking even if you are non Indian.

    2. CAB / TAXI

    You can take a direct taxi to Mayapur. Will cost you ₹2000 INR. better if you have parents. +919593959990 - Gauranga Travels Mayapur Temple. They can book for you.
