    see the link I posted below - running one AV is good, but there is no such thing as a perfect AV. So you want to install quite a few things and have them run to make sure 100% that whatever got into your computer has been removed. (with that said what you will be installing are not AVs. It's crucial that you never install multiple AVs and have them run simultaneously)

    Now then winamp.exe could be a false positive or it could be a trojan renamed as such. Since you did have it installed at one point in time, my best guess would be it's a false positive (you can upload it to VirusTotal.com

    (there is also an infected site similar in name, so be sure to click this link: https://www.virustotal.com/en/)

    See what other AVs say.

    With that said, Mozilla is a secure browser, but as with anything you do on the computer, there are certain precautions to take.

    1) Good AntiVirus - I highly recommend Avast! Free.

    2) Good Firewall - there are many, but Online Armor Free is a great one

    3) Good Anti-Malware program (this must be compatible with the AV) - the best one is Malwarebyte Anti-Malware. It is compatible with everything... so there isn't any issues there.

    Of course you can roll 1 and 2 with an Internet Security Suite, but those cost $, unless you can find a legit copy that is free after rebate (US stores do this often, but I believe you're based in India ... if you're interested, I could give you one for Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 (I bought a few for pennies a few months back and I have no idea what to do with them haha). Bitdefender is rated as one of the best security suites (if not THE best) in the industry.

    But if you're interested, definitely shoot me a message on IDT, I'll be glad to give you one (I think they were activated on purchase (bought in Feb. 2013), but I think you can get more than one year.

    To end, the best form of protection is knowing the sites you visit ... don't download or open suspicious files, stay on clean sites, etc. Sometimes even after doing this we still get malware, but it's part of the computer life cycle.

    ===============

    Mozilla and Chrome are two of the top rated browsers. Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer are also up there too. IMHO, stay with Mozilla, make sure it's continuously updated (Sync the browser: more info here: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sync-take-your-bookmark... so in case something goes wrong, you can always have an encrypted, in the cloud, back up). But I'm not following that last part - "should I install mozilla on some other drive?" as in not your main hard drive?

    Hare Krishna Prabhuji,

    There are two possibilities, you installed Delta search in your computer and got this problem or you click somewhere on some site and it got installed in your computer or browser.

    If you dont have any saved bookmarks in your browser then uninstall Mozilaa and reinstall it after running a anti virus software first or if you have many bookmarks saved along with password and other stuff than you have to make some arrangement before you uninstall anything.

    If you are not able to get what i said above than just do one simple thing, download and install TeamViewer Software in your system and let me know, i will help you from here... (once you install than let me know via email at : vedicgiftshop-at-gmail.com)
