Hare Krishna
PAMHO
I haven't been chanting for that long but I guess I'm doing naamapradha in some way (probably because I'm trying to tell people about the glories of hari naam but no one near me is interested) because I still am engrossed in maya. I really want to see lord Krishna everywhere but I can't! I know I'm a neophyte but what's the point in admitting that and remain stagnant? if anyone has any tips on how to progress in bhakti and get rid of materialistic desires, then please help

Hare KRsna dear Mataji,
PAMHO.
YOu are a young teenager/ preteen something. If you try to preach, I assume, to family elders, who would listen? In India, nobody wants gyaan from daughter/ daughter in law. The way to preach is by actions, words are to be used only rarely, to substantiate the action.
By admitting that one is a neophyte, one doesnt become stagnant. Just like by not admitting that one is a neophyte, one doesnt become advanced.
Good that you think you are neophyte. Continue your sadhana or chanting, reading, hearing lectures, eating prasadam, taking care of your Laddy Gopal. Gradually, the doubts in the mind will clear.
Preaching is not a simple activity. It can be very profound. They say, aachaar before prachar. One has to follow before one preaches. That should not stop you from preaching. All I am trying to say is - one should first follow, then preach. To the extent you are able to follow, to that extent you can preach. If nothing, you can inspire people to simply say Hare Krsna. Thats all.
When you preach to anyone, you should pray to guru and Gauranga. Guru to give you mercy, so that your words have the necessary weight, and Gauranga, so that your listener has the mercy to understand and imbibe what you are saying.
Haribol,
Your servant,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I used to tell people about the glories of hari naam but now that I know that they aren't interested, I've stopped doing that
