Hare Krishna dear Devotees, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
on the place of mobile there is Srila Prabhupada's mini player with his japa. In some houses of Devotees i visited whole day and night they turn on this and everyday we can hear the Holy Names.
Also it does not consume much energy.
----And to read Srimad Bhagavatam little louder so that child also could hear.
----also to gift her some nice baby Krishna soft toys.
----also You Yourself please try to drink cow milk and prepare food on ghee. It will help to grow brain cells which helps to understand the spiritual science.
----Also if You find nice Brahmana from ISKCON Temple for different yagyas which should be done for the child in different occasions.
----and not harmful words up to 5 years. :)
----no TV sounds :)
----and of course to pray Krishna to make her a nice Devotee.
----to feed her with the Maha Maha Prasadam of saintly Devotees.
----to sprinkle Ganges water on her head. And apply tilak.
----If You serve to Devotees and please them then they will bless her to be a nice Devotee.
Only by the blessings and prayers of sincere Devotees we are all here, isn't it?!
----and girl should grow up as a girl. How we can educate her?
What does it mean to be a lady?
It means to respect her Father, Husband, Seniors, and as a result God.
By Your own examples of serving to Your husband You can teach her.
It is not so true if You spend whole day taking care of her but forget of Your husband. No. In the first place should be husband then only children. By seeing Your example of respect they will also respect father and learn from You.

Hare krsna bhaktin maral mataji..whatever u said is absolutely correct..husband usually feels annoyed when infant arrives and tips u've given for bringing kids into kc are also nice..thanks for ur answer its v beneficial..sudhee prabhu also gave good justifying answer..thanx to u all..

We also have a infant in our home (my nephew). He came home about one and half month back and since then, every day he gets up just before mangalarthi at our home and lays down in front of the alter and takes darshan of Jagannath Baladev and Subadhara during the aarthi. When he is crying, I sing Narashing aarthi and he starts laughing and giggling hearing that. While singing kirtan, we hold his hands and clap and he enjoys it a lot. However, his parents are not devotees but since we are staying together, they also get prasadam daily.
SP used to say that we can preach others by our own example. Children is no different from this. They learn a LOT from us the parents and elders at home. Mostly the wrong things that we do they learn very easily. So it is very important that we try to be a ideal vishnava rather than being a parent.
Lastly, Keep your child away from mobile as there are very harmful radiation that come out of these devices and children are very sensitive.

Keerthana Mataji, as you say its a new born kid, we can initiate the KC slowly in the following ways:
1) When the baby cries and needs mother's pat and comfort, you can whisper the Hare Krishna mantra in a rhythmic way
2) When the baby grows old enough and needs a lullaby to make the baby rock and sleep, sing a small kirtan and chant hare krishna mantra patting the baby and put to sleep.
3) Before feeding the child, chant the mantra before baby when h/she sees what you are doing
Believe me it works wonderful, now my daughter is used to krishna mantra and sweet devotional songs. It also gives an opportunity for parents like ours to train babies in KC and at the same time engage ourselves in KC service.
