How to avoid monotonous prayers.

Hare Krishna to all the devotees

All glories to srila Prabhupada

When I do prayers at evening singing some things like Govindam adi purusham aur  jaya radha Madhav since now I can remember them it seems like I just sing them with not much emotions or connection to it. In a very monotonous way. How can we avoid doing it?

  • It happens to many of us over time. One thing that helps is slowing down and really reflecting on the meaning of the words instead of just the melody. You can also vary your routine a little-read a verse, think of something you’re grateful for, or spend a minute in silence before starting. Small shifts often bring the emotion and connection back naturally. Hare Krishna.
