how does one become chaste? please answer

i need to know how to become a chaste, i need to know what it means to be chaste. please answer if you have some legitimate knowledge to share.

      oh man tulasi devi is the ultimate goal of chastity i guess i need to know about how to apply  chastity in a  present day situation, like in reality i can not sit in a ring of fire or take baths in icy rivers untill krishna agrees to be my husband. how does one behave with her husband? what is "proper"
