Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada,

General people feel bad and something different in mind when they go to crematorium/ Burning ghat by seeing someone's dead body being prepared for burning.

Do the KC devotee feel the same in the burning ghat? How does a GURU feel that time?

Curious to know this answer..

Just your servant

i am not a Devotee yet, but still that would remind me about importance of chanting Hare Krishna.

That no matter what i do in this world there is end. I am not this body but soul.

    Your servant,

    • Yes Mataji!,

I understand, but sometimes I feel very emotional. Emotional with my relatives.I know that I have to get rid of this otherwise my service to Krsna will be affected.

      1. Do I really need to remove all emotions in KC?

      2. Who is said to be a devotee?

Krishna Consciousness does not mean to be have a stone heart Prabhu.

When Devotee chants the Holy Names after some time his heart melts and he becomes really compassionate to others. Suffers when others suffer.

It is true we love our relatives, friends...so Devotees also cry feel separation but also they know that old man if dies then he will take a new body, strong body so it is for his benefit.

        So both joy and sorrow.

So this world is like this only, suffering and joy is mixed.

Because of that Devotee tries to have eternal relationships with others which means to have spiritual relationships.

If for example, two Devotee friends and one leaves her body in due course of time. So it is very painful but at the same time other friend knows and hopes to meet her in spiritual world.

So we do not want temporary emotional relationships and love but eternal. That is the difference.

        Your servant,
