Please Accept My Humble Obeisances.

Us Western devotees are used to eating with a knife and a fork. Some of us American devotees have already adopted eating with just a fork instead of a knife with it, as they do in England.
We are used to eating with fork in left hand, and knife in right. So, you can imagine how difficult it is to honor Maha-Prasadam with the right hand!
HOWEVER, many times in the past, without realizing I have honored Prasadam with my left hand. What offense is it to honor Prasadam with left hand?
I know that I must eat with right hand, but this question has come across my mind. If I have made anyone upset in asking this question, please forgive me.

Wonderful explanation Mataji.
And Siddhartha Prabhuji, I am left handed.
This is why I have been having difficulty with this.
Hare Krishna David Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
left hand is considered very, very, very dirty. and if we touch with that hand food and put into our mouth then we will it dirty food. it is not recommended. with right hand we give good energy but with left we take bad energy. because of that even when someone meets another person gives only right hand wishing to give good energy.
it is something connected with subtle dirtiness plus gross.

using forks and knives we cut the good bio energies of the food. why to eat with them. better to use our clean right hand. Digestion starts when we start touching the food. Because of that it will be very easy to our organism to digest the food. And when we digest something good we become strong before any type of sicknesses.
Of course, it might be difficult in the beginning, but believe You will enjoy later. It is difficult but good things deserve good price!
