  • Hare Krishna,

Not all paths lead to Krishna Loka. Only krishna Devotees reach krishna loka where there are no miseries at all. No accidents , no earth quakes , where people remain always young , sufficient food, dress for everybody and so on. There are no miseries in Vaikuntha planets. Those who are pure devotees of Krishna and his avatars reach vaikuntha planets and remain there forever not to face any miseries thereafter. Or in otherwords those who reach vaikuntha planets remain there eternally not to come back to earth and similar planetary systems. Therefore they put an end to miseries once for all.

Those who help others like giving money , giving free hospital services , providing education and so on - number of such social activities - either in the name of religion or some through some social network reach heaven, not vaikuntha planets. Heaven is place where one has to suffer misery although the misery level is not as much as that in earth. Or in other words in heaven there is more enjoyment and minimum misery. After enjoying sufficiently in heaven, for their good deeds, they are born in earth and similar planetary systems in a rich family. Being rich if they commit sins in that birth they are sent to hell. After sufficient punishment in hell those souls are born as animals or in poor family to suffer, depending upon residual sins remaining after punishment in hell and the process continues. The soul continuously takes a body and is subject to birth / death between all material worlds - heaven , earth , hell and number of such planetary systems depending upon karma and consciousness at the time of death each time suffering misery and temporary happiness in each world until it realizes all material worlds including heaven are place of misery and vaikuntha planets are the proper place to reach. At this point the soul takes all steps to become a devotee of krishna and tries to reach Vaikuntha planets.

A view about Vaikuntha planets , heaven , hell etc is available in the following link. Visit the link and place the cursor and click the link until the image enlarges into a big picture. Then patiently go through the picture to see where are vaikuntha planets , heaven (swargaloka ) and so on.

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

God is one, called by different names by different people, as per faith, interest, knowledge, level of consciousness, etc.

It is not true that all religions lead to Krishna/ Goloka. Like there are so many educational institutions in the world, going to any one will make a person educated. But studying school, college, post grad, professional institute - there is a difference na. Same way, depending on whihc form one is praying to and how, ones consciousness level is different and one reaches different destination. There is something called material world and something called spiritual world. Like how there are many lokas in the material world, same way, there are many lokas in the spiritual world. Actually, it is written in the scriptures that material world is 1/4th of the spiritual world.

The thing is - most religions of the world do not speak about this spiritual world at all - for them heaven is the highest/ desired destination. For others, heaven is in the material world, so not even desired, what to speak of attempting to attain.

If you want to meet / know about God as He is, in His most intimate form and where He performs His most initmate pastimes, then you need to know about Krsna and Goloka. Accepted that most people are not interested in Krsna at all or to know about Goloka at all. Then how can they achieve Krsna and Goloka?

Eg: there are so many employees in an organisation, not everyone aims at becoming the CEO or owner one day, and out of the people who do, not everyone achieves it.

I think I have put my point across. I hope I have been able to explain to you somewhat.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD

  • Dear Dr Mabalay,

I am happy for you. You have found the cure for KANSR/CANCER. Just by chanting sincerely HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE, one is prevented from getting KANSR/CANCER. Or is even cured by it. Those with stage 0-4 KANSR/CANCER will get cured by your discovery?. Hopefully ISKCON will support it And why not? For every patient cured, you will be amply rewarded. Of course, the pharmaceutical drug companies that manufacture anti-KANSR/CANCER drugs wont like it. Imagine the patient will not have to spend a single cent! By sincerely chanting HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE, one is rid of his/her KANSR/CANCER? Why that is quite amazing! I wonder how Srila Prabhupada will say about this if His Divine Grace were alive today.

CONGRATULATIONS to you, my alter ego!

    Haribol always,

    Krsnaraja Melvin
  • Dear Hare Krsna devotees,

I know many will not believe. But I have to tell you this what I discovered. That the most powerful sound vibration if chanted can cure KANSR/CANCER. Just by chanting sincerely HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE can cure this dreaded disease KANSR/ CANCER. Is it not the very cause of getting KANSR/CANCER is because of our forgetfulness to KRSNA?. Tell me if I'm crazy, ridiculous or slanderous to ISKCON devotees. Those who are without fault. You cast the 1st stone.

    Very truly yours,

    Dr Melvin

My complaint: I can not understand what he is writing. He might be maligning Drmelvin Mabalay in this post. Is there a way to interpret this post to English? Meaning translate the above-letter so we could understand what is being written? This person whose conduct is unbecoming, I believe, has no place here in this forum. So, I am calling the Admin`s attention to please do something about it. Thanks.

    Haribol always,

  • Krishna consciousness is attractive because Krishna is attractive; the word Krishna means "all-attractive." :)

PAMHO, prabhuji, you ask a very nice question.

The reason why people begin Krishna consciousness is that the chanting of the holy names of God (the maha-mantra: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare; Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare) is so powerful. It is the prescribed method for reaching God in this age. As Srila Prabhupada said, transcendental bliss and detachment from material contamination can be practically experienced quickly by one who begins chanting this mantra.

Krishna said in the Bhagavad Gita, "abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me." (18.66) Krishna says to do everything for Him, and that by so doing He will give the understanding by which one can come to Him.

So love for Krishna is so powerful that people of all religions and atheists and agnostics alike can all appreciate and feel love for God by chanting His glories and surrending unto Him: Just a tiny amount of surrender will be greatly rewarded because Krishna is so merciful, and as He says in the Bhagavad Gita, one who begins the path of devotional service will continue it in their next life until they have come to yogic perfection and ultimately reach Krishna. This is one example of God's infinite mercy. He is infinitely patient.

You can call God Krishna, or Jah, Jehovah, Christ, Allah, and God will accept your worship to Him. All the different names just point to different attributes of God. For those who want to know God personally, the name Krishna seems particularly attractive. At least, it is to me.

Thank you for your honest inquiry and I hope I have helped to answer your question.

    Hare Krishna
    Peace and love
  • Dear Ashish Kherwal,

All religions are one because they lead their followers to love Allah, Christ, Buddha, Jehovah, Krishna, etc. Following the religious principles taught by these religions to their adherents, they hopefully become good citizens to their communities and countries. You don't have to relieve the religion of your birth to become Krishna conscious. Stay in whatever religion you belong. One can pray the Holy Rosary or chant Hare Krishna to obtain God's mercy. I am a devotee of Balarama Christ Jesus. I love Krishna, too. It is just a matter of perspective. Things get topsy turvy and one goes fanatic or go crazy if he can not reconcile his mind which God to whom he wants to worship. Can't you see the humor behind this worship thing? Krishna loves to play tricks to His devotees until they become black and blue, blow their tops. Suffer panic anxiety attacks, so on and so forth. The formula to get rid of these inconceivability is to take it easy, relax, enjoy life, pray, chant and be happy. Life is short. Dont waste it with so much doubts, questions , ambivalence and skepticism. We are all children of the universe. No less than the trees and stars. We have the right to be here. So, go in peace even in the midst of war and chaos.

    Truly yours,

    Dr Melvin
