Hare Krishna ,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada ,

I was seraching for an answer , i found many important hindu temples in India ,

which are described as from starting of Yuga only , are not mentioned in scriptures .

Some of them i found as Amarnath , Vaishno Devi .

They all have story but i found no scriptural proof .

Are they really valid or its just crowd of people .

As i found Saivism in Kashmir is Non-Puranic ,

People have made their own scriptures called Purana ,

one such i found as known as " Amarnath Mahatmaya " ,

Bringesh Samhita, Nilmat Puran . I found many such scriptures which are invented .

Well just want comments on Proof from scriptures for Amarnath and Vaishno Devi .

  • Hare krishna !! my humble pranAms to the bhagavan and bhagavathas

Many people visit our site to know more about ISKCON, Krishna, KC service etc. but they come from different backgrounds. Rather than confronting them outright on their belief systems, insult or offend and put them off, we should hear them, see if we can help address their doubts and then spread the sweetness of Krishna-Consciousness. When they start thinking about Krishna, slowly they'll believe and take to KC service. Other belief systems may not start with Krishna devotion. It is said that where Gita ends (surrender to krishna), bhagavatham (glory of krishna) starts. It needs time for transformation and as devotees of krishna our service is to help gradual transformation of people into KC service.

Hmm now a days so many Kundalini yogi Visiting this site, very nice. It shows that they have somehow got mercy of Srila Prabhupada.

But the problem with them they Know neither scriptures nor ever read the words of PATANJALI ~ The legend of all the Yoga. This modern puffed up people only knw gymnastic in name of yoga BUT don't know the fore-father of Astanga Yoga Patanjali's One of the sutra among the eightfold path is worshipping vasudeva i.e Krishna.

In his comment on Panini (IV. 3, 98), Patanjali distinctly states that the Vasudeva contained in the Sutra is the name of the “worshipful”. i. e., of one who is preeminently worshipful, i. e., God.

So dear Kundalini yogis, Gyana yogis whatever path you follow the basis is Krishna , you just can't avoid that.

  • Stop trying to disapprove other peoples belief systems, stick to your own and follow the path you have chosen. To people whom don't share your understanding of God take offense just as you do when someone disrespects your belief system. Jesus is just as venerable a teacher as any. Jesus healed the sick, died on a cross for the sins of man. He never judged anyone or criticized someone because they were different. He showed equal love to all. Knowledge of God is not something found in just the pocket of a few. It is universal. Many have come before whom were of different cultures whom realized God. God does not belong to the hindu belief system or any for that matter.

  • Just like Śrī Caitanya Caritāmṛta it is not puranic either but still respected.

Hare Krishna Darian prabhu. You are conjugating Ghee with Fire. Chaitanya Charitamrta is Biography of Mahaprabhu not a purana. Here discussion is going on about Puranas
