This is my first post on the DT forum.
I am currently studying correlations between middle eastern and hindu deities in an attempt to prepare further evidence that other religions stem from a root of ancient Indian religions.
I am researching the name Caitanya and wondering if there were any sages named Caitanya prior to the appearance of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu or if the name had any other significant meaning in antiquity.
