The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), is the orthodox core of Hinduism. It is based mainly on the Bhagavad-gita and the Shrimad Bhagavatam. The core of ISKCON is the believe in one God, Krishna, for all living and non-living entities in the whole universe.
We, the spirit souls, are parts and parcels of Krishna who is the seed giving father of all living entities including human beings in this world. Lord Krishna clearly states in Bhagavad Gita:
It should be understood that all species of life, O son of Kunti, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed-giving father. (http://vedabase.net/bg/14/4/en2.php)
