Hare Krishna,
I’m Arun Ajayakumar, and I wanted to share something personal. I have been experiencing Prayer OCD, which brings intrusive thoughts and anxiety during my spiritual practices. This has been particularly challenging for me, and I am seeking advice on how to manage these feelings while continuing my prayers.
I would be grateful for any guidance, support, or resources you could provide.

Hare Krishna,
Arun. Thank you for sharing. Prayer OCD can be tough, but it doesn’t mean your devotion is weak. Gently acknowledge intrusive thoughts and return focus to your prayers. Short, structured sessions, guidance from a mentor, and, if needed, professional support can help. Be patient and kind to yourself.
Hare Krishna. Thank you for your response. I pray deeply, but after finishing I often feel uncertain and afraid—wondering whether my prayer was enough or whether I prayed in the right way. This fear makes me return to prayer again.
Iska ilaaj karna padhega ye medical condition hai. Religious OCD or Scrupulosity. Even if we give him remedy he will keep doing this. Isko bhagwan pe ya guru pe ya phir panchattava pe bharosa hi nahi reheta kya karein. I am done giving you advice baaki tumhari marzii
So you are worried whether your prayers will suffice or not, right? For the satisfaction of krsna.
