During Kartik month it is advised that one should,
1. Chant japa as much as possible.
2. Chant and sing the glories of the Lord.
3. Read scriptures glorifying the Lord if possible in the association of devotees.
4. Visit holy dhams and bathe in holy rivers.
5. Give in charity.
6. Perform deep-daan.
On the whole we should increase our sadhana in this month seeing to it that not a moment is wasted without remembering the Lord.
Now your question to visit Dwaraka. It is perfecly fine as one should go to holy places in this month. Srila Prabhupada always suggested devotees to visit Vrindavan or Mayapur as the mood of the lilas in these dhams are in sync with our parampara. Jagannatha Puri is also recommended. But if have visited all these places then Dwaraka is also fine. Pls remember the underlying motto...Always remembet Krishna and Never forget Krishna.
How to reach Dwaraka from Mumbai:
There are trains going to Okha from Mumbai or crossing Mumbai through Vasai.
