Hare Krishna ,,
please accept my humble pranams ,
As we all know,we have SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTASMI Coming very soon . I live in Tamil Nadu , so , janmashtami here is on 2nd september 2018 ..
Please tell me the very best way to please SRI KRISHNA ON this day. Please note that i am a +1 student , i can't have all the pompous celebrations. But , i want to make it the best , this year and every year .
So , what can i do for him?, please give this dumb fellow some ideas . I am BRAINLESS.
My plan is that i decorate the puja place with proper lighting , incense , sambrani etc. , decorate him with flowers , seat him on a lotus , and possibly recite SRI KRISHNA VRATHAM , possibly stay at midnight chanting his name ,, offer flowers TO SRIMATI TULSI DEVI , OFFER HER RESPECTS ( AS TULSI DEVI IS DEAR TO SRI KRISHNA , AND PLEASING HER WOULD ALSO PLEASE SRI KRISHNA , AND OFFER RESPECTS TO ALL HIS DEVOTEES ETC.
Please give me some ideas on how to please him ion this day the most
Yours

Hare Krsna prabhuji,
PAMHO.
Very good thoughts. If you are in Chennai, you could also come to the temple. Celebrations are for 2 days - Sunday, 2nd and Monday 3rd. YOu can come anytime of your convenience. You can take part in the kirtan in the temple. YOu will get Association of devotees. Krsna will be especially pleased because you have gone to the temple to see Him on His birthday. You could render service there if you like. This is true for any temple, not necessarily Chennai temple.
THis is in addition to whatever you have planned at home.
What will please Krsna is your desire to please Him and your attempts - like decorating the altar, offering prasadam, singing bhajans. WHat He wants is surrender from heart. You could also read from Krsna book or Gita shlokas.
Best of luck. Do tell us what you do.
Haribol,
Your servant,

Hare krsna prabhuji,
You have pretty much covered all the aspects to please the Lord. Well done.
Chant more if possible and read Prabhupada books to keep yourself engaged in devotional service. That will please krsna.
All glories to Srila Prabhupad!!!!
Hare krsna.
