HARE KRISHNA !

PLEASE ACCEPT MY HUMBLE PRANAAMS !

I DO HAVE A DOUBT - THOUGH I AM BORN IN A BRAHMAN FAMILY , I DID OT RECIVE MY SACRED THREAD - I WANT TO RECITE THE PURUSHA SUKTAM , AS The Purusha Sukta of the Vedas is not only a powerful hymn of the insight of the great Seer, Rishi Narayana, on the Cosmic Divine Being as envisaged through the multitudinous variety of creation, but also a shortcut provided to the seeker of Reality for entering into the state of Superconsciousness. The Sukta is charged with a fivefold force potent enough to rouse God-experience in the seeker.  

CAN I READ PURUSA SUKTA , PROVIDED THAT I AM A (born) BRAHMIN , ( i dont have all 12 brhamanical qualities -  i MAY have  one among them ))  

please clear my doubts

    PAMHO.

    I dont know the answer to your specific question about whether any qualification is required for reciting Purusha Suktas. I know one thing - there is no qualification required to chant the Hare Krsna Mahamantra. The benefits are also multifold. All the past karmas are eradicated one by one by chanting, one gets purified. One gets the mercy to serve devotees, understand the importance of human birth. All without any qualification of birth, even whether took bath or not, following any regulation or not.... everything will follow when one chants with attention and sincerity.

    Please start by chanting mahamantra prabhuji. Purusha Sukta will also happen, I am sure.
