Growth of ISKCON in terms of Numbers of Followers,Esp. in The Europe and Western world, are we Growing or Shrinking???

Hare Krishna, PAMHO, I am quite foiled when i read a news on chakra.org that ISKCON is Shrinking in terms of followers, This is quite thwarting news for me.. The proselyting Mission , with a noble and spiritual expedition of rescuing countless souls from cluthes of Maya and to take them into Lotus feet of Shri Krishna has become so pathetic.. but few other Says that ISKCON is growing with a steady process in some countries while it is rampant in Countries like Russia and African nations?? Who is correct, kindly assuage Fire of my Queries.

    your statement is correct prabhuji, but Bhaktivinod Thakur and all acharyas had desire to see the elites of this material world as devotee of lord. Preaching is the essense of Iskcon , it differentiates us from other vedic spiritual Organizations.. I m adamant to bhakti..still I want vehement preaching and growth of bhakti in west on Quantity & Quality

    Hare Krishna Prabhu,

                     

                       A person aspiring to be a true devotee of Krishna will never worry about number of followers. For example prior to Srila Prabhupada introducing Krishna consciousness to the western world how many of them were true devotees of Krishna.Very few when compared to the world population.

                        Suppose assume that Srila Prabhupada was not successful in introducing Krishna consciousness into the western world then does it mean that he would have left Krishna consciousness permanently. Even if he was the single person to follow Krishna consciousness in this world he would have strictly followed it. 

                        A true devotee never preaches to increase the number of followers. He preaches out of compassion after seeing people suffering in misery.

                       Never ever be demotivated even if we are the only few persons to follow Krishna consciousness. Strictly adhere to the principles.

    Yes, I do believe that whole world will come one day under the flag of Krishna prem and spirituality..I m very concerned about the Preaching... We should be very aware that ISKCON is the only spiritual organization which has might to disseminate the Teachings of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, any fluctuation or deviation of devotees from the principles and preaching will surely anguish Srila prabhupada and other acharyas.. ISKCON should do more vigorous preaching in all the parts of world Including INDIA

    Hare Krishna Prabhu,

    It is predicted in the scriptures that a bhakthi movement will start and spread over the entire world in next 10000 years.

    Apart from that if one watches websites relating to iskcon like dandavats.com we can clearly see that there are number of preaching activities going on. Book distributions etc.

    People who accuse will keep accusing only.Just reject it and keep the momentum going.
