Hare krishnaI was out of my town for a few months.Now when I am going back,I want to gift something to my sikśa guru as he kept me in his contact when i was out of the town and tracked my spiritual progress for the whole time.What should I gift him?

Very good thought. The ideal gift for your shiksha guru is your increased commitment towards devotion and towards following the guru like a menial servant. That is what will please him the most and make him feel he is doing his bit in the mission of Srila Prabhupada and his gurudev.
Having said that, any gift as a token of appreciation would be accepted gladly by the guru. If he is running a preaching program, you could sponsor prasadam one day, or sponsor mike system or projector or mridanga or kartals or songbooks, anything that will be helpful in his preaching as well as fit in your budget. If you want to gift something personal, maybe a book set that he doesnt have - Srila Prabhupada Lilamtra, or The Beggar series of HH Bhakti Tirth Maharaj, Translations of acharyas books by HH Bhanu Swami Maharaj - something like that - which will benefit him as well as his group - he will read and discuss what he has read in the books. Or you could gift him one set of vaishnav dress - anything. The sky is not the limit when one wants to give.
