Gambling

Hare Krishna Prabhus & Matas

I heard that if any body challange or invite to Kshatriya for fight or gambling they (Kshatriya) can not ignore it.,

but when Pandavas and Korav( duryodhan etc) were played gambling at Hasinapur and Yudhistir loss all his brothers including him with his wife (draupadi) also.,

so   Yudhishtir was right or wrong to put his brothers and his wife in Gambling ?

Brothers and wife is property, things or wealth ? Kshatriya have right to put their brothers and wife in gambling ??

Hope you can understand my question and give Justification answer .,

  • Gambling games have always been my top choice. I enjoy researching and understanding them in depth. For example https://congo-cash-slot.ar/ is a great source for finding details and strategies. Knowing the games well makes playing even more thrilling for me; it's more than just luck.

  •   I wanted to find a new gaming site and came across https://dragon-game.in/. I was interested in where I could play and win money online. This site has many interesting bonuses and offers, especially for players from India, which is very convenient. I was impressed by the large number of games and the opportunity to win real money. Now I play here all the time and am very happy with my choice.

Yes, Share Market is also considered gambling. I also did not know this but learn recently in a seminar. However, devotees suggested to invest in mutual funds for tax savings and also investment rather than putting in shares. The share market is very fluctuating and makes us to constantly run behind money. Apart from this, in today's world casino, all types of betting including horse race and other racing comes in the category of gambling.

for example chess it self is not gambling but Krishna also used to play. But when we play it for money then it create disturbance in mind.

As like all other sportive games like football, volleyball ....if we play them just for the sake of winning someone or for money then it becomes gambling. Am i right?

        What is share market?

Hare Krishna Tushar Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! all glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Yudhishtra did not want to play that game but when King Dhritarashtra told he agreed. Because he was a symbol of religiosity, used to see his uncle as his own father. In this way he just agreed out of respect to his father - elder.

And at the time of game he acted as a real truthful kshatriya who keeps his word and does not cheat as like kurus cheated by killing sleeping sons of Draupadi later.

    Your servant,

    • Hare Krishna Mataji , Thanks for your answer , i understand he acted a real truthful kshatriya., OK.,

because of that Krishna used the top most moralistic, religious, pious King Yudhishtra and wanted to say to us that even he did mistakes by gambling and being attacked by the mode of passion so what can you do?

In this way gambling is prohibited. Because we will fall into the illusion of lust and passion and will loose clear intelligence.

        It was Krishna's example.

        Your servant,

        • Thanks Mataji., Hare Krishna !
