Fighting with somebody and karma?

Let's say you are travelling in a bus and one women starts attacking you with racial abuses like this - the clip has some bad language. ignore them, change seat rather than fight back with them which many people will hold as the right thing to do like Indians here are fighting back. Is that correct?

  • Hare Krishna.. It depends on the severity of the situation. If the intensity is low, you can very well tolerate it and step aside. But if it is high, like all the people around you have started supporting the girl who is talking against you, then you have to open your mouth. Otherwise, it would look as if you have done something wrong.

When somebody comes running towards you with a knife, you cannot just stand there. The reaction is that you defend. Even Krishna asked Arjuna to fight when Arjuna said He dont wish to fight. Lord also said that, an aggressor can be killed and we dont incur sin.
