Hare Krishna to all devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisance,
All Glories to Srila Prabhupad,
I have these three doubts, Please guide me here.
1) My would be husband is a non devotee and I am a beginner in KC. He is insisting on giving eggs to my future kid saying that it is a high source of protein. In my childhood, I was also given eggs by my parents to provide strength to me. I was helpless at that time as they gave me but I do not wish to provide one to my future kid. Using this reason, he says, u yourself ate then why do you want to stop your kid from eating eggs i.e unfertilized eggs. I searched on many ISKCON sites to provide scriptural references for not eating eggs but couldn't get direct scriptural references stating not to eat eggs. The same with mushrooms.
Please help me in this.
2) I had a discussion with my mother who is not a devotee on a mundane subject, who asked , what punishment does a man get for having more than one wife for enjoyment and vice-versa. I know this cheating but I was not able to answer this in the right sense. Please clear my doubt as per scriptures.
3) How come Vedic culture i.e Sanatana Dharma was practiced since ages in India and not in other parts of the world when it is applicable to the whole world? Sorry for my ignorance.
Sorry if I have offended anyone.

Whole Earth planet is called as Bharata Varsha.
Bharata Varsha is the place where people live according to Vedic knowledge.
But it says that Bharata Varsha is reducing in size because of forgetfulness. So it is predicted that even India will be divided into small separate countries and will remain only Marthura as Bharata Varsha...
So Vedic culture was known to whole world but by the time only it is getting to be forgotten.
Your servant,
in Kali Yuga one is recommended to take only a single wife. Plus the laws of many countries forbade to have many wives....
In the reality if wife is intelligent and chaste she can make her husband so much happy that he will accept all other women as his mothers. So only one person's - wives chastity is enough to protect the family.
There is no power that husband will look to other women if wife is chaste. It is not possible. Such is the power of chaste wife. But that does not mean to keep husband under the feet by force, no. That means to keep him with her under the power of love.
Your servant,
these are the kids who never ate any eggs, or other non beg foods but still or indeed very healthy and beautiful.
eggs are considered as periods of a bird so it is very contaminated.
So knowing this i am sure even a karmi won't let his kids to eat such thing.
...
Anyways, if at this time You will say "no" "no" and go against Your future husband he will try his best to go even more against. So wife achieves her gaols in a different way. First she accepts him as what he is saying then later by her good service attitude makes him to accept her own vision in life and in that way fulfills her desires.
So first is to understand the false ego of a man - I am a master over You and You have to do what i order You to do.
When wife closes her eyes and being tolerant accepts him as a master and herself a subordinate for him she will win his heart and that means he will fulfill desires not his own but wives' ...
So it is an art.
Your servant,

My dear Dr. Ghosh,
Please accept my greetings. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 15th December, 1974 and have noted the contents. I thank you for your kind appreciations. Our movement actually has been predicted by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He said that in every town and village all over the world His name would be heard and it is actually happening. Our centers are developing so nicely even in the Muslim countries and countries where Buddhism is the major religion. That proves that this Vaisnava, Sanatana Dharma is not some sectarian philosophy. It proves that what Krsna speaks in the Bhagavad-gita is universal and is applicable to anyone and everyone throughout the world. Therefore they are actually accepting and they are taking to our restrictions. They are chanting Hare Krsna and learning Srimad-Bhagavatam and therefore their lives are becoming happy. I am simply trying to repeat the words of Sri Krsna without any adulteration or twisting and I have full faith that by doing so His message will become well-known throughout the world. Now our books are being so much accepted throughout the universities and colleges as well as amongst the general mass of people. It is really astounding. We are selling literally thousands and thousands of full sized volumes of Srimad-Bhagavatam everyday, in different parts of the world. I am glad that you enjoyed our article in the Bhavan's Journal.
You are cordially invited to come and visit us anytime here in Bombay at your convenience. I am planning to stay in Bombay until mid-Jan. and then I shall go to Australia.
Your ever well-wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

People are accepting Bhagavad-gétä as something Indian or Hindu, but actually it is not. It is universal. Kåñëa says that there are so many forms of living entities. There are 8,400,000 different types of bodies. "And all of them are My sons." So if you love Kåñëa, then you love white man, you love American, you love European, you love Indian, you love cow, you love dog, you love serpent—everything.

Trita: One of the three sons of Prajäpati Gautama. He was the third son, and his other two brothers were known as Ekat and Dvita. All the brothers were great sages and strict followers of the principles of religion. By dint of severe penances they were promoted to Brahmaloka (the planet where Brahmäjé lives). Once Trita Muni fell into a well. He was an organizing worker of many sacrifices, and as one of the great sages he also came to show respect to Bhéñmajé at his deathbed. He was one of the seven sages in the Varuëaloka. He hailed from the Western countries of the world. As such, most probably he belonged to the European countries. At that time the whole world was under one Vedic culture.

Thus, when he was in the land of Bhäratavarña traveling to all the places of pilgrimage, he visited Prabhäsakñetra. At that time Mahäräja Yudhiñöhira was the emperor and held the world under one military strength and one flag.
PURPORT
More than five thousand years ago, while Saint Vidura was traveling the earth as a pilgrim, India was known as Bhäratavarña, as it is known even today. The history of the world cannot give any systematic account for more than three thousand years into the past, but before that the whole world was under the flag and military strength of Mahäräja Yudhiñöhira, who was the emperor of the world. At present there are hundreds and thousands of flags flapping in the United Nations, but during the time of Vidura there was, by the grace of Ajita, Lord Kåñëa, only one flag. The nations of the world are very eager to again have one state under one flag, but for this they must seek the favor of Lord Kåñëa, who alone can help us become one worldwide nation.

There is a story of Jaòa Bharata. Jaòa Bharata, a brähmaëa boy whose name was Jaòa Bharata. He was formerly the emperor of this world. His name was Mahäräja Bharata. And by his name now India is called Bhäratavarña. Formerly this whole planet was named as Bhäratavarña. Before that, this planet was named as Ilävåtavarña, long, long years, millions of years before. But Jaòa Bharata, he also lived ätma-rati, self-satisfied. In the beginning of his spiritual life he left this world, a very young age. When he was only twenty-four years old he left his wife, children, and kingdom. It is not joke. An emperor with beautiful young wife, small children, and palace—he left everything. There are many instances like that.
I WILL STOP HERE. THESE ARE ENOUGH SCRIPTURAL QUOTES TO YOUR QUESTIONS.
Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
Thanks for your answers through these quotes.
