Few queries regarding INITIATION from ISKCON? Please guide me..

Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada,

I have few quesries, Please guide me.

1. What is the full form of GBC?

2. What is the role of GBC for giving initiations?

3. Does any ISKCON Guru/ Spiritual Master need to take permission from GBC before giving initiation to a new disciple?

4. How will I approach to take initiation, if I go to my nearest temple, i.e, ISKCON Mayapur? How it is decided who is going to give me initiation?

I apologize for forgivess if I hurt anyone.

    There are Gurus in ISKCON who are approved to accept disciples by GBC.

    So from their disciples You can inquire if still particular Guru is accepting students.

    For finding a Guru one should hear his lectures, if they inspire one to chant, serve to Krishna ... then it is our Guru.

    One gets Guru by the mercy of Krishna. So if we are sincere Krishna gives us to the hands of a sincere Guru in bona fide parampara.
