Hare Krsna! I was wondering. I have these plants I forgot to water for about two weeks, so two waterings, so I decided to fast for two days. One day for each feeding I missed. Is this fasting ok'd by the Vedas? Or is it fasting in the mode of ignorance? Thanks! Hare Krsna!

THe thought is commendable, but this kind of fasting is not recommended in the scriptures.
