Hare Krishna
please accept my humble obeisances
all glories to Srila Prabhupada
I'm facing difficulty in understanding one of the lines of Srila Prabhupada,
Like an animal, he has no proprietorship even over his own body. A cruel proprietor of an animal sometimes kills the animal in his possession, yet the animal does not protest. Nor does it have any real independence (bg, 4.21 purport)
Why srila prabhupada compares krishna conscious man to an animal? Krishna conscious person has no real independence? Why so tough analogy?
i'm unable to understand this line in overall
dear devotees please help me to reconcile this 🙏🙇♂️

Somewhere, the example of a puppet is also given, a puppet in the hands of a puppet master. The puppet dances as the puppet master makes the puppet dance.
Krsna tells Arjuna to become like an instrument in the fight in the Bhagavad-gita, nimmitta-matra, nothing more.
Here, the example of an animal is given. The animal is not independent of the care of the owner. The owner can do with the animal as he likes.
Similarly, this is our position when we we are fully surrendered unto Krsna, we become without care and anxiety when we learn to fully depend upon Krsna.

Hare Krishna,
Abandoning all attachment to the results of his activities, ever satisfied and independent, he performs no fruitive action, although engaged in all kinds of undertakings. ( 4.20)
Such a man of understanding acts with mind and intelligence perfectly controlled, gives up all sense of proprietorship over his possessions and acts only for the bare necessities of life. Thus working, he is not affected by sinful reactions. ( 4.21 BG)
When we are doing everything for the pleasure of Krishna.. We don't feel any attachement for the result
Let us say you learnt a song to praise glorify Krishna and singing for the pleasure of Krishna and not for appreciation from others... that karma of singing will not bind you to the result.
Whether you get praises or whether you get harsh comments you don't mind it.. You will say.. My Krishna loves whatever I do for Him. ( if I sing good or bad also He accepts me as it is). So this type of karma will not having any attachement to the end results and makes you free and independent of the result.
Like for example an animal who is captured by the hunter. ..
Animal will not fear now.. once captured by the hunter. Hunter may kill it or may love it and put in a cage and keep feeding it.
It is not concerned now. It will just surrender itself... Because it has no fear....of loss or gain... achha hoga ya bura hoga uske saath usse uska koi matlab nahi..
Did you watch Mahavatar Narsimha ..
Little Prahalada was tortured by his own father in may ways.
Pralaad said nothing.. he accepted all his tortures and said If Lord really wants me to suffer let me suffer. If He wants to save let him save. I am no one as I am owned by my Lord.
When Lord Sri Krishna is there standing to protect us.. do we need to even fear?
Fear is only for those who are self reliant as they have no one to depend on.
I have somone to depend on look up to who protects everybody then do I need to have any fear?
When we lose fear and surrender to Lord we are totally depending on LORD Sri Krihsna for everything.
We belong to Lord.. Lord is our proprietor. Be fearless.
Krishna conscious devotee doesn't feel he/ she is the owner of this body even. Cruel propeitor is here the TIME ( time doesn't wait for anyone)...sometimes time kills... people sometimes KC devotee also gets punished for the things which he never done... But KC devotee doesn't fear as he or she just lives for the sake of living as they fully know that their swami is protecting them...
he or she just maintains livelihood. whatever comes to them they enjoy but don't crave for more. They just fully dependent of Lord.. If a cruel proprietor captures him or her like an animal also and subject to pain torture also they wont worry as they know whatever is happenning is as per Krishna's mercy. And Krishna will surely protect us.
so .....do you think the animal who is captured by the hunter .. will have any fear?.. They are already free from all bondages..if they are totally dependent on Krishna.
It looks as if they are not independent...and are under the mercy of Lord but actually they are free from all bondages and fear.
Hope it helps.
Hare Krishna
Thank you mataji🙇♂️🙏
Fully KC person is immersed in Sri Krisna seva in a total dependence on the Lord.
Tapa (skin branding used in Ramanuja and Madhva sampradaya) and tilak are analogous to animal branding showing ownership. Vaisnava tilaks are variations of U/V, standing for "Visnu".
