Donate to temple or give charity to the poor for education or food?

Hare Krishna all,

AgtSP!

 Should I donate money to the temple or give money in charity to the orphan kids or poor hungry people ? My friends are running charity by contributing among themselves and they want me to join them.They arereally doing sincerely and all the accounts are clear and transparent. They are helping many kids giving them education and clothing.

      Hare Krishna,

      How can we call ourself devotees without even being a human. We cannot escape by giving example of roots of a tree and leaves etc. What is the use of so much spiritual knowledge when our hearts are still solid rocks. I personally believe we need to help poor as much as we can and Krishna will be definetly happy with this service. All the time we cant blame their karma for their situation, we need to take part of others karma for overall progress in kC, ultimately every service or charity should be done as offering to krishna.
