Does Krishna Call Us?

PAMHO.

Krsna is calling everyone, as already mentioned in the earlier post. The calling you are feeling could be mercy of devotees, could be previous birth unfinished KC, who knows.
THe beauty of Krsna Consciousness is that the journey as well as the destination is full of happiness. If you feel a strong calling, please take the plunge.
Since you are a Bahai, I am assuming you are in Delhi - lotus temple is the only Bahai temple i visited, that's why.
Krsna Consciousness is the relationship of the soul with Krsna, so ti doesn't matter what religion we are following. Religion is to the body, spirituality is to soul. KC is all related to soul,
What we recommend is ABCD of devotion to newcomers - Association, Books, Chanting and Diet. Association is difficult for you in the absence of a temple nearby. If you know of any devotees in your area, or any preaching program that happens nearby, please join and become regular. If not, then you have to associate online. Scores of people do that. You can ask questions on this forum, read other people's blogs and discussions. I can add you to whatsapp group where you will get devotional text, photo everyday.

Books - you can read Srila Prabhupada books. You will get them online on www.vedabase.com. You can start with the smaller books - Chant Hare Krsna and Be Happy, Perfect Q & Perfect Answers, On the way to Krsna, Life Comes from Life. REad Bhagawad Gita As It Is every single day. Start from Introduction and read from beginning to end. Keep parking your questions and asking.

Chanting - Please keep a minimum round commitment - means if you have time and inclination anyday, you can exceed your minimum commitment of number of rounds. But on days when you have no time, still minimum rounds will be done at all costs. And chanting has to be done on all days.

Diet - Vegetarian without onion and garlic ideally. If not, atleast veg diet.

Thank you for asking this nice question, but let me tell you answer is also very nicely given in Gita itself: It says that Krishna is always calling everyone and every time, He is seated as Supersoul in everyone's heart and doing the Loving reciprocation of Overseer, Sanctioner and Guide as well best of friends. Krishna also came recently as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to invite all classes of people to understand highest secrets about relationship with Lord (Five types of relationships) .
