When we read some scriptures we find people used to live thousands of years, Krishnas one expansion come and meet other expansion, bodies of demons miles long etc..,. We have seen
recorded life spans of kings some hundred years back generally no one lived more than 100years.
And how to develop love for krishna who is invisible,inconcievable,difficult to understand.

He comes in the Form of Deity and in the From of His Holy Names. He is not far. Just we have to be patient and humble. And when we clean our heart from covering of dirt then we will be able to see Him.
Love for Krishna is already there. Soul is made of love for Krishna. Soul is made of full knowledge, bliss and eternity. We just have to remove the dirt. But it will take some efforts and time.
In our stage we are yet purifying our heart.

My humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As per the sastras, People have different life spans in different yugas. In Satya Yuga people used to live for thousand of years and this gradually decreased to about 100 years in Kali Yuga and as per Srimad Bhagavatam (12.2.1), this will keep on reducing. So that is why people in previous yugas were able to do live and perform austerities for thousands of years whereas we cannot. Srimad Bhagavatam 12th canto explains the symptoms of this age of Kali.
I don't know much about Krishna's expansions meeting other expansions. But I feel, for performing various pastimes Krishna arranges such situations. After all nothing is impossible for Him. :)
To develop love for Krishna, we have to follow the instructions given by Srila Prabhupada. Sincerely chant 16 rounds of Hare Krishna Maha mantra, strictly follow the 4 regulative principles and eat only Krishna prasada. If we are strong in our vows, then we can develop love for godhead even though he is invisible, inconceivable and difficult to understand. The main idea is to purify our senses and be strong in our devotional service. Rest everything will follow automatically. :)
