HARE KRISHNA, ALL PRABHUJIS AND MATAJIS!
I have read fifth canto of SRIMAD BHAGABATAM,where SRILA PRABHUPADA states that 'BHUMANDALAM' refers to the greater earthly planetary system (earthly level planetary system) but
SRILA BHAKTIVINOD THAKUR and SRILA BHAKTISIDDHANTA SARASWATI PRABHUPADA states in their
books that "BHUMANDALAM" refers to the earth.
I am confused by the difference between the teachings of SRILA PRABHUPADA and other
Vaisnava Acharyas. The teachings of the Acharyas of the same Samprodaya should not differ at any
point.
So,Please help me to understand the above critical topic.
HARI BOL!

Teachings coming down in Parampara doesn't mean that word to word comparison i.e we should not expect All the acharyas would say same word unadultered..they are not parrot..:) rather we have to check whether they are conveying the same meaning of a subject in different way according to time, place and people.
There is factually no difference in meaning between "earthly level planetary system" and "earth" rather the way of expressing the same things is different. They both denoting to those planets which are in same dimension which includes earth, that means along with earth other planets also exists in the same dimension and axis and they are called 'BHUMANDALAM'.
