hare krishna, my humble obeisances to all of you.My question is very simple what is the real difference between a pavitra (made out of the shreds of lords dress) and kavach (enclosed in silver). if both r for body protection then why such specific rules are there to wear a Narsingha pavitra like remove while sleeping or when one goes to toilet whereas there is no such specification for a narsingha kavach. why so and explain the purpose of both in an elaborate manner, so that i could understand the concept.
