Krishna Mahamatra is propogated by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and is from authetic Kali-santrana upanisads. He had popularized it through congretional chanting.And is used by Gaudiya vaishnavas.
Yugal Mahammantra " Radhe Krishna Radhe Krishna Krishna Krishna Radhe Radhe Radhe shyam radhe shyam Shyam shyam Radhe Radhe"
Its a mantra specific to Nimbarkya sampradaya. Which is one of the authentic bonafide Vaishnava sampradaya out of four sampradayas.
So both mantras are from authentic bonafide sampradaya, so both are effective . Both will lead you to realization of Radha-Krishna.

But how one can choose what to chant? Should one to choose one sampradaya and take initiation from one of Gurus and act accordingly?
Yes, there are so many ways .... we are so insignificant ...
Does those 4 sampradayas are there in every 4 Yugas? I mean in every Divya Yuga?
As we know there are 14 divya yugas (yes?) and 71 Manvantaras.
And we know that Lord Gouranga comes only in the time of 28th Manu and in the Kali yuga age.

i heard that for many lives most of Devotees did devotional service but still did not achieve love for Krishna. But in this age only Lord Mahaprabhu's mercy can save us. Only Sankirtana of Hare Krishna Maha Mantra can save us?!

Actually we don't choose Sampradaya or Guru. Krishna as "Chaitya Guru" always presents in our heart, So when after many lifetime , we somehow get some awekning in our heart for spiritual life through mercy of Krishna as Krishna saying in BG
BG 15.15: I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness.
then Krishna only connect us to a Guru/Sampradaya as we all Connected to Prabhupada's ISKCON through his transcendental books or some devotees, that is arrangement of Krishna , and in this way we are now in Gaudiya sampradaya and chanting Hare Krishna.
So we don't have to bother much why I am not following other sampradaya, it is because we can't choose by our own, it is Krishna's choice and we just have to follow the teachings BUT not blindly rather with full conviction and after testing.

It depends according to the time, place and audience of that Yuga

Yes because Gaur-Nitai is called "Patita-Pavana", because they are so merciful that they even delivered the most sinful jagai and madhai, Lord Gourango gave Nama-ACharya upadhi to HariDas Thakur, who was a mleccha. He didn't discriminate whether one is a brahmin or a dog eater while distributing Krishna prema. He gave the highest thing very cheaply to all people. In this way Only Chaitanya Mahaprabhu can save us because his process is very sublime at the same time very Intense.
Actually he gave the Cream of vedic knowledge that is Bhakti in a very practical way.

Mantra won't have effect if it is not taken from bona fide parampara.
In this way 5000 years ago Narada Muni gave this Maha Mantra Hare Krishna to Veda Vyas and he wrote it in the Vedas. And from Veda Vyas comes Madhvacharya, Madhavendra Puri, Ishvara Puri, Lord Gournaga, 6 Goswamis, HH Jaganatha Das Babaji Maharaj, HH Bhaktivinod Thakur, HH Goura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj, HH Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur and Srila Prabhupada, then Prabhupada's Disciples.............................
In this way we follow Parampara. And instruction given in Srila Prabhupada's books will be in use for over 10 000 years. Then religion will decrease.
