Danda mean Rod Pranams means Offering Obeisance’s in Astanga pranama full flat showing our due respect to the vaisnava who will full fill all our spiritual desire... mercy of vaisnava is more important than Krishna actually Krishna is more pleased and give his blessing when we go through the vaisnavas..
U can chant while offering pranams to vaisnava
vancha-kalpatarubhyas ca kripa-sindhubhya eva ca
patitanam pavanebhyo vaishnavebhyo namo namah
I offer my respectful obeisances unto all the Vaishnava devotees of the Lord. They are just like desire trees who can fulfill the desires of everyone, and they are full of compassion for the fallen conditioned souls.
